Switching between plans

Upgrading

Upgrading to a higher plan happens instantly. New features and limits are available immediately after payment.

How to upgrade

  1. Go to Settings -> Plan and billing.
  2. Click "Change plan".
  3. Select the new plan.
  4. Choose the billing period (monthly or annual).
  5. Confirm payment.

Payment proration

When upgrading in the middle of a billing period, payment is calculated proportionally:

  • The unused balance of the current plan is deducted from the cost of the new one
  • Only the difference is charged

Example: You are on Pro (2,900 RUB/mo), paid on June 1. You upgrade to Business (14,900 RUB/mo) on June 16.

StepCalculation
Remaining Pro balance for June (15 of 30 days)2,900 x 15/30 = 1,450 RUB
Business cost for remaining June14,900 x 15/30 = 7,450 RUB
Amount due7,450 - 1,450 = 6,000 RUB
Next full charge (July 1)14,900 RUB

What changes on upgrade

  • Limits (events, participants, fields, emails, team) increase instantly
  • Archived objects (archived_due_to_downgrade) are automatically restored
  • New plan features unlock (BYOD, custom domain, badges, SMS, etc.)
  • Agent commission decreases for all future transactions
  • Watermark is removed (when upgrading from Free)

Downgrading

A downgrade takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Until then, all features of the current plan continue to work.

How to downgrade

  1. Go to Settings -> Plan and billing.
  2. Click "Change plan".
  3. Select the new plan.
  4. Confirm the transition.

Next to the confirmation button, the date when the new plan takes effect is displayed.

What changes on downgrade

After the new plan takes effect:

  • Limits decrease to the new plan's values
  • Objects exceeding limits are marked as archived_due_to_downgrade (not deleted)
  • Features unavailable on the new plan are disabled
  • Agent commission increases for future transactions
  • On Free, the "Powered by tikento" watermark returns

Switching from Free to a paid plan

When first switching from Free:

  1. Select a plan in Settings -> Plan and billing.
  2. Enter card details or choose another payment method.
  3. Choose the period: monthly or annual billing (20% discount).
  4. Confirm the subscription.

If you were previously on a trial and already linked a card, it is used automatically.

When it makes sense to upgrade

The main criterion is monthly paid ticket turnover. At a certain turnover, the savings on agent commission cover the subscription cost.

Free -> Pro

FreePro
Subscription0 RUB2,900 RUB/mo
Commission4% + 20 RUB2% + 20 RUB

Savings per 1,000 RUB turnover: 40 + 20 - (20 + 20) = 20 RUB.

At a turnover of 145,000 RUB/mo, the commission savings equal 2,900 RUB -- exactly the Pro subscription cost. Above this turnover, Pro is more cost-effective than Free.

Pro -> Business

ProBusiness
Subscription2,900 RUB/mo14,900 RUB/mo
Commission2% + 20 RUB0.5% + 20 RUB

Subscription difference: 12,000 RUB/mo. Commission savings: 1.5% on each transaction.

At a turnover of 800,000 RUB/mo, the commission savings cover the subscription difference.

Business -> Enterprise

BusinessEnterprise
Subscription14,900 RUB/mofrom 60,000 RUB/mo
Commission0.5% + 20 RUB0%

At a turnover of ~9,000,000 RUB/mo, the commission savings cover the difference. Enterprise also includes own acquiring by default, white-label, 99.99% SLA, and dedicated support.

Switching billing periods

Switching between monthly and annual billing (and back) is described in Annual billing and 20% discount.

Restrictions for self-employed

If your entity type is "Self-employed", only Free and Pro plans are available. To switch to Business or Enterprise, you must first register as a sole proprietor and update your details in the organization settings.

More details -- Self-employed: 2.4 million ruble annual limit.
