Your first event in 5 minutes

What you'll need

To create your first event, all you need is a browser or Telegram. No payment details are required at the start — the 14-day Pro trial activates automatically.

Steps

Step 1. Open tikento

Go to app.tikento.com or open @tikento_bot in Telegram and tap the "Open App" button.

Want to explore the platform without signing up first? Try the demo mode — it creates a fully functional dashboard in 30 seconds.

Step 2. Sign up

On the authorization page, choose a convenient method:

  • Email and password — enter your email, create a password (minimum 8 characters), confirm your email via the link in the message.
  • Google / Yandex / VK — redirect to the provider and back; the account is created automatically.
  • Telegram — tap the "Sign in with Telegram" button and confirm in the app.

After signing in, your organization dashboard opens.

Step 3. Create an event

Click "+ Create event" in the left menu or on the dashboard home page.

Fill in the basic details:

  • Name — shown to attendees
  • Event type — conference, webinar, workshop, and 20+ more options
  • Date and time — with timezone support
  • Venue — a physical address for offline events or a link for online ones

The draft saves automatically; you can come back to it later.

Step 4. Set up the registration form

Go to the Registration tab inside the event. By default, the form includes "First Name", "Last Name", and the system Email field (this is where the confirmation will be sent).

To add a field, drag it from the right panel or click "+ Add field". There are 14 types available: text, dropdown, checkbox, file, phone, and more. Learn more in the Field types article.

Step 5. Add tickets (for paid events)

Go to the Tickets tab and click "+ Add ticket type". Specify:

  • Name and description
  • Price (or choose "Free")
  • Number of spots
  • Sales period (optional)

To accept payments, you'll need to connect a payment gateway — see Payment methods overview.

Step 6. Publish

Click "Publish" — the event status will change from Draft to Published. The public link for attendees will appear in the "Overview" section.

Copy the link (e.g. https://app.tikento.com/events/your-slug/register) and send it to attendees. If you want to embed the form on your website, use the widget.

What's next

Once the event is published, attendees will start registering. All submissions will appear in the "Attendees" section. You'll receive a notification via Telegram or email for each new registration.

For in-person events, check out the QR code check-in article — it lets you verify tickets even without an internet connection.
