Entity types

tikento supports 4 types of organizer legal entities. The ability to accept ticket payments depends on the status:

LLC and JSC

  • Registration certificate
  • Company charter
  • Director's details
  • Company bank account

Sole Proprietor (IP)

Sole proprietors can accept payments without restrictions. All plans and gateways are available.

  • Passport
  • Sole proprietor bank account

Self-Employed (Professional Income Tax)

Self-employed individuals can accept payments with a revenue limit of 2.4 million RUB/year (the professional income tax regime limit). tikento tracks turnover and warns when approaching the limit.

Available plans: Free and Pro. Business and Enterprise are not available for self-employed individuals (as they assume revenue above the limit).

When the limit is exceeded, payment acceptance through tikento is automatically suspended until the end of the calendar year or until the status is changed to sole proprietor.

Individual without business status

Individuals without sole proprietor or self-employed status cannot accept payments through tikento. This restriction is in place to comply with tax legislation requirements -- tikento does not act as a tax agent for individuals.

What you can do:

  • Create free events (tickets priced at 0)
  • Use all platform features except payment acceptance
  • Register as self-employed and unlock paid events
