How to open settings
In the tikento dashboard, click your avatar in the upper right corner and select "Profile settings". Or navigate directly via Settings in the left menu.
Basic profile information
First and last name

The primary email is used for sign-in (if email sign-in is configured), receiving notifications, and password recovery.
To change your email:
- Enter a new address in the "Email" field.
- Click "Save".
- A confirmation email with a link will be sent to the new address.
- Follow the link to update the email.
The old email continues to work until the new address is confirmed.
Avatar
Click your current avatar to upload a new image. Supported formats: JPG, PNG, and WebP. Recommended size: at least 200x200 px.
Interface language
tikento supports 7 languages: Russian, English, Spanish, Arabic, Italian, German, and French.
To change the language:
- Open Profile settings > Language.
- Select the desired language from the list.
- The interface switches instantly.
Changing the language only affects the platform UI: menus, buttons, system messages, and tooltips. Your event content (names, descriptions, form texts) is not affected.
When Arabic is selected, the interface automatically switches to RTL (right-to-left) mode.
Timezone
The timezone affects how dates and times are displayed for events in the dashboard.
- Open Profile settings > Timezone.
- Select your timezone from the list (IANA format, e.g. "Europe/Moscow").
- Click "Save".
The event timezone is set separately when creating an event — it is independent of the profile timezone.
