Manual broadcast to participants

Creating a broadcast

Manual broadcast allows you to send a custom message to event participants. Broadcasts are available via email and Telegram.

Steps

  1. Open the event and go to the Notifications tab.
  2. Click New broadcast.
  3. Select delivery channels: Email, Telegram, or both.
  4. Enter the email subject (for email).
  5. Write the message text in the editor.
  6. Select recipients (all participants or a filtered group).
  7. Click Send or Schedule (Pro+).

Message editor

The built-in editor supports text formatting:

  • Bold and italic text
  • Headings (H2, H3)
  • Numbered and bulleted lists
  • Links
  • Dividers

For email, additional elements are available:

  • Button with link (CTA)
  • Image
  • Block with background

Template variables also work in manual broadcasts -- use them for personalization. For example, participant.name will insert each recipient's name.

Recipient filtering

By default, a broadcast is sent to all event participants. You can narrow the audience by applying filters:

Available filters

FilterDescription
Registration statusRegistered, awaiting payment, canceled
Ticket typeSpecific ticket type (e.g., VIP, Standard)
Payment statusPaid, unpaid, refunded
Registration dateRegistered before/after a specific date
Registration channelWebsite, widget, Telegram, VK
Check-in statusChecked in / not checked in

Filters can be combined. Before sending, the system will show the number of recipients matching the selected criteria.

Scheduling a broadcast

On Pro and higher plans, you can schedule a broadcast for a specific time:

  1. After creating the message and selecting recipients, click Schedule instead of Send.
  2. Specify the date and time of delivery.
  3. Select the time zone.
  4. Confirm the scheduling.

A scheduled broadcast will appear in the list marked Scheduled with the delivery time. Before the scheduled time, you can:

  • Edit the message
  • Change the delivery time
  • Cancel the broadcast

Email broadcast limits

Manual broadcasts consume the shared monthly email notification limit:

PlanEmails / monthManual broadcast
Free500Available
Pro5,000Available + scheduling
Business50,000Available + scheduling
EnterpriseUnlimitedAvailable + scheduling

When creating a broadcast, the system shows:

  • Number of recipients
  • Remaining monthly limit
  • A warning if the broadcast would exceed the limit

If the limit would be exceeded, the broadcast will not be sent. You can increase the limit by upgrading to a higher plan.

Telegram broadcasts have no message limits.

Broadcast log

All sent broadcasts are saved in the log:

  • Event -> Notifications -> Broadcast history
  • For each broadcast, the following is displayed: date, subject, number of recipients, delivery status
  • Click on a broadcast to see the breakdown for each recipient

The log is retained for 90 days.

Recommendations

  • Test before sending. Use the "Send test" button -- the message will be sent to your email so you can check the formatting.
  • Don't overuse broadcasts. Frequent irrelevant broadcasts lead to unsubscribes and spam complaints.
  • Use filters. Send relevant messages to specific groups of participants rather than to everyone.
  • Schedule at a convenient time. The optimal time for email broadcasts is business hours in the time zone of most recipients.
