Age restrictions
Available ratings
tikento supports a standard age restriction system:
| Rating | Description |
|---|---|
| 0+ | No age restrictions |
| 6+ | Ages 6 and older |
| 12+ | Ages 12 and older |
| 16+ | Ages 16 and older |
| 18+ | Adults only |
| No restriction | No rating is displayed |
How to set an age restriction
- Open the event in the dashboard.
- Go to the "Overview" tab.
- In the "Additional settings" section, find the "Age restriction" field.
- Select the desired rating from the dropdown.
- Save the changes.
Where the rating is displayed
- On the public event page — next to the name
- On the event card in the tikento catalog
- In the registration widget on external websites
If "No restriction" is selected, the rating is not displayed anywhere.
Capacity limit
Setting the maximum number of attendees
- Open the event > "Overview" tab.
- In the "Capacity" section, specify the maximum number of attendees.
- Save the changes.
The limit applies to all ticket types combined. If you have multiple ticket types, each type can also have its own quota (configured separately in the "Tickets" section).
Limits by plan
The maximum number of attendees per event depends on your plan:
| Plan | Maximum attendees |
|---|---|
| Free | 100 |
| Pro | 500 |
| Business | 2,000 |
| Enterprise | unlimited |
You can set any value within your plan's limit.
What happens when capacity is reached
When the number of registered attendees reaches the limit:
- The registration form is automatically locked
- The attendee sees a message: "All spots are taken"
- New registrations are not accepted
- The organizer receives a notification that the event is full
If an attendee cancels their registration or a payment refund is processed, the spot becomes available and the form opens again.
Tracking occupancy
The dashboard displays a fill progress bar: current registrations out of the maximum. This information is also available on the event card on the dashboard home page.
