Invitation Methods
By Email
- Go to Settings -> Team.
- Click Invite.
- Enter the invitee's email.
- Select the role to assign after the invitation is accepted.
- Click Send invitation.
The invitee will receive an email with a link to accept the invitation. If they already have an tikento account, they will sign in and be added to your organization. If they don't have an account, they can register directly via the link.
Via Telegram Deep Link
- Go to Settings -> Team.
- Click Invite.
- Select the Telegram tab.
- Select a role for the invitee.
- Click Create link.
- Copy and send the link to the invitee.
The link is in the format https://t.me/tikento_bot/app?startapp=... and opens in the Telegram Mini App. The invitee is automatically authorized through Telegram and joins the organization.
The link is single-use -- after being used, it becomes invalid.
Invitation Statuses
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Pending | Invitation sent but not accepted. Valid for 7 days |
| Accepted | Invitation accepted, user added to the team |
| Expired | 7 days passed, invitation was not accepted |
Managing Invitations
In the Settings -> Team -> Invitations section, you can see all active and past invitations. Available actions:
- Resend -- creates a new invitation with an updated expiration
- Revoke -- cancels a pending invitation (the link stops working)
Limits by Plan
The number of team members (seats) is limited by plan. All active members are counted, including the organization owner:
| Plan | Maximum Seats |
|---|---|
| Free | 3 |
| Pro | 10 |
| Business | 50 |
| Enterprise | Unlimited |
If the limit is reached:
- The "Invite" button becomes inactive
- A notification appears suggesting an upgrade to a higher plan
- Pending invitations remain valid and can be accepted (they were sent when the limit had not been reached)
On a plan downgrade, existing team members are not removed. However, new members cannot be invited until the member count falls below the new plan's limit.
Assigning a Role on Invitation
When sending an invitation, you select the role to assign to the new team member:
- Admin -- full access except billing management
- Manager -- managing events and registrations
- Finance -- access to payments and reports
- Support -- viewing data and attendee check-in
The Owner role cannot be assigned via invitation. More about roles -- Roles: owner, admin, manager, finance, support.
After joining the team, the role can be changed at any time in Settings -> Team.
Inviting to a Specific Event
In addition to inviting to the organization, you can invite someone with a role limited to a specific event:
- Open the event.
- Go to Event Settings -> Team.
- Click Invite to event.
- Specify the email or create a Telegram link.
- Select a role (Manager or Support).
This member will have access only to this event and will not see other events or organization settings.
