Types of Consents

Three main types of consents are used in tikento registration forms:

Personal Data Processing Consent

Required under 152-FZ "On Personal Data". If you collect attendees' full names, email, phone, or other personal data, you are required to obtain explicit consent.

The text should include:

• Name of the data controller (your organization)
• Purpose of data processing
• List of data being processed
• Processing period
• Link to the full privacy policy text

Photo and Video Recording Consent

For events with photo and video recording. Informs the attendee that recording takes place at the event and materials may be published.

Event Rules / Terms of Service

Confirmation of having read the event rules, ticket refund conditions, or public offer agreement.

How to Add a Consent

1. Open the form builder (event → "Registration").
2. In the fields panel, find the "Consents" block (or add a "Checkbox" field type).
3. Drag the desired consent type into the form.
4. Configure the text:
   • Checkbox label — short text next to the checkbox (e.g., "I consent to the processing of my personal data")
   • Link to full text — URL of the document with full terms
5. Enable the "Required" toggle — the attendee will not be able to submit the form without checking it.
6. Save the form.

The text next to the checkbox can contain a link to a separate page with full terms. The attendee sees a brief statement and can click the link to read the full document.

Example: "I consent to the processing of personal data".

Legal Requirements (152-FZ)

What the Law Requires

Federal Law 152-FZ requires the personal data controller to:

• Obtain voluntary, specific, informed, and conscious consent from the data subject
• Store proof of consent
• Provide the ability to withdraw consent
• Not process data beyond the stated purposes

What tikento Provides

• Consent is recorded with a timestamp and IP address
• Data is available in exports for presentation during audits
• Personal data is encrypted during storage
• When an attendee's account is deleted, personal data anonymization is applied

Multiple Consents in One Form

You can add multiple consents. Each one is a separate checkbox with its own text and link:

• Personal data processing consent (required)
• Photo/video recording consent (required or not — your choice)
• Event rules acceptance (required)
• Newsletter subscription (optional)

Optional checkboxes do not block form submission.

Localization of Consent Texts

Consent texts, like labels of other fields, can be translated into supported languages. The attendee will see the text in their language.

Make sure that legally significant texts (data processing, terms of service) are correctly translated and comply with the legislation of each jurisdiction.
